Description
The Mr Hobby Mr Procon Boy LWA Trigger is a gravity fed, pistol grip, double action airbrush with an 0.5mm nozzle and is ideal for medium to large coverage applications. This airbrush is supplied with two air cap’s, one for the familiar round pattern spray & another for producing a flattened & widened fan pattern spray for spraying larger surfaces
This style of airbrush is comfortable to hold and operate for extended periods of time and is very popular with people who might have experienced some kind of repetitive strain injury, dexterity issues or just don’t like the traditional double action airbrushes. A Mr Hobby Pistol Grip Handle can be fitted to the airbrush for increased comfort in use.
As with all Mr Hobby Japanese manufactured airbrushes it’s finished to a high standard & offers excellent performance at a reasonable price.
The PS-290 consumes more air than a standard airbrush when operating in fan pattern & many low / medium powered airbrush compressor will be unable to provide adequate airflow.
The following air consumption figures can be used to determine if you existing compressor will be suitable.
20psi – round pattern – 11.1 L/Min*
30psi – round pattern – 14.6 L/Min*
20psi – fan pattern – 19.1 L/Min*
30psi – fan pattern – 25.2 L/Min*
Your compressors airflow rating should be available from the compressor manual or from the manufacturer’s website. Should the rating be provided in CFM, multiply the CFM rating by 28.3 to obtain the L/Min rating.
