Christmas and New Year Opening Times 2022/2023
We will be open over the festive period at the following times
- Thursday 22nd December – Open to 4.30pm
- Friday 23rd December – Open to 12pm (Shipping DPD orders only – Royal Mail Strike)
- Saturday 24th December – Closed
- Sunday 25th December – Closed
- Monday 26th December – Closed
- Tuesday 27th December – Closed
- Wednesday 28th December – 8.00am to 2.30pm
- Thursday 29th December – Closed
- Friday 30th December – Closed
- Saturday 31st January – Closed
- Sunday 1st January – Closed
- Monday 2nd January – Closed
- Tuesday 3rd January – Open as Usual
Please note that during this time we will be operating with a reduced level of staff and telephone service and order collection will be unavailable.
Full service will be resumed on Tuesday 3rd January 2023
Shipping over the Christmas / New Year Period
- Wednesday 28th December – Shipping as normal
- Thursday29th December & Friday 30th December – Orders will be shipped on the 3rd
- Tuesday 3rd January 2023 – Shipping as normal
Dependent on demand, there may be a delay in the processing and dispatching of your order. Please bear with us during this busy time
Royal Mail will be taking strike action on the following dates:
- Friday 9th December
- Wednesday 14th December
- Thursday 15th December
- Friday 23rd December
- Saturday 24th December
Collections – On these dates there will be no collections & we will be unable to dispatch via Royal Mail. Orders will be dispatched on the following working day.
We will be processing & consigning orders as usual during this period and on-line order statuses will indicate “shipped” prior to the physical dispatch of orders
Parcel and Letter Deliveries
On days when strike action is taking place:
• Royal Mail will deliver as many Special Delivery Guaranteed parcels as possible. They will prioritise and deliver as many Special Delivery Guaranteed items as resources allow. They cannot however guarantee delivery by 9am or 1pm next day. Customers will not be able to claim for delays to items during this period.
• Royal Mail will deliver as many Tracked 24 wherever possible. However, significantly reduced resources mean there will be a delay to some Tracked 24 items during strike action.
Other items posted the day before, during strike action or on the days after any strike action will be subject to delays.
