The sets in the Vallejo Metal Color series contain a selection of water-based metallic colors which have been selected to faithfully reproduce the different metallic finishes of radial or lineal engines, exhausts or panels which are part of most airplanes of any type or era, starting with aircraft in the first World War which were constructed with a combinations of materials such as wood, metal and fabric up to the most modern fighter airplanes of today.
