Permanent Metallic Colours for Exquisite Finishes
Discover our selection of 8 permanent metallic colours from Vallejo, ideal for fine arts, restoration, decorative arts, and hobby painting. Formulated with specialized metallic pigments soluble only in alcohol, these colours offer infinitely more brilliance than their water-based counterparts, along with exceptional durability and lightfastness.
The colours can be intermixed and dry almost instantly, allowing for immediate overpainting or varnishing. Due to the specific weight of the pigment, some sediment may form at the base of the container; therefore, the paint should be thoroughly shaken or stirred before each use. If further dilution is required, only 96% pure alcohol should be added to prevent oxidation.
Important Note: Liquid Metal cannot be mixed with water. Even the slightest contact with water will cause the pigments to rust within the jar.
Brushes used with Liquid Metal should be cleaned with alcohol or with the Vallejo Brush Cleaner (ref. 28.900).
Vallejo Liquid Metal contains alcohol and is therefore flammable, but the product does not contain xylene or toluene, and is neither toxic nor harmful under normal use.
