Water-Based Metallics for Airbrushing Excellence
Introducing Vallejo Metal Color, a groundbreaking range of water-based metallic colors specifically engineered for airbrushing. This new and innovative series utilizes the latest generation of aluminum pigments within a specially designed formula, resulting in colours of exceptional resistance and adherence to both plastics and metal.
Metal Color can be applied directly onto models without the need for a primer. However, for aircraft fuselages and components, it is recommended to first apply a glossy Black Primer to truly bring forth the unique and special quality of the aluminum finish. The comprehensive Metal Color range comprises 19 distinct references, conveniently available in 32ml flip-top bottles.
How to Use: Shake well before using. Pour the paint directly into the cup of your airbrush, either undiluted or previously diluted with Thinner 71.161. Colours can be mixed directly in the airbrush cup. Metal Color dries almost instantly on the model, allowing for immediate application of aging processes such as washes, pigments, and dry-brush techniques. For optimal durability, it is recommended to wait an hour or so for curing time before manipulating the freshly painted layer.
