Wash FX is a new range of washes featuring a unique water-based formula, specifically created to provide model painters with innovative techniques for rendering the processes of aging and exposure to the elements. These colours offer a matt finish and possess high capillarity, meticulously formulated to bring forth the minute details of your model’s panels and the subtle contrasts produced by wear and accumulated grime from operational use and weather exposure.
The remarkable versatility of Wash FX makes the product equally useful for:
- Quick shading: Adding depth with ease.
- Creating caked dust and dirt: Perfect for details like rivets and panel lines.
- Acting as a filter: Applied uniformly to the model to subtly modify the base colour.
Wash FX can be applied effectively by both brush and airbrush and dries very quickly, allowing you to continue your painting or weathering process after just approximately 20 minutes. Painting tools are easily cleaned with water.
