Vallejo Liquid Metal offers eight alcohol-based metallic colours for models, miniatures, restoration and decorative artwork. The range uses fine metallic pigments to produce brilliant, realistic metal finishes.
These highly reflective colours offer excellent coverage, durability and lightfastness. In addition, the fast-drying formula allows you to build up metallic effects with minimal waiting time.
Brilliant Metallic Finishes
Liquid Metal paints produce rich metallic effects that closely resemble real metal. Therefore, they are ideal for decorative details, model painting, restoration and fine artwork.
You can also mix colours within the range to create different metallic shades. However, always keep water away from the paint to prevent pigment oxidation.
Thinning, Mixing & Cleaning
Metallic pigments may settle at the bottom of the bottle. Therefore, shake or stir the paint thoroughly before each use.
If thinning is necessary, use only 96% pure alcohol. Water can cause the metallic pigments to oxidise and damage the paint.
After painting, clean your brushes with a suitable alcohol-based cleaner. Always follow Vallejo’s instructions for compatible cleaning products.

Vallejo Liquid Metal contains alcohol and is flammable. Keep it away from flames, sparks and heat sources. In addition, work in a well-ventilated area and follow the product safety instructions.
Never mix these paints with water or water-based acrylic colours.
