Iwata Hi-Line Airbrushes – Precision Airflow Control
The Iwata Hi-Line Series gives artists precise control over both paint and airflow. Iwata manufactures these double-action airbrushes in Japan for detailed and controlled spraying.
A key feature of the Hi-Line range is the integrated Micro Air Control (MAC) Valve. This allows you to adjust airflow directly at the airbrush. As a result, you can fine-tune atomisation without returning to the compressor.
The MAC Valve provides small, precise adjustments to airflow. For example, you can reduce the airflow for stippling and other specialist effects. Alternatively, increase the airflow when you need different atomisation or greater paint coverage.
Hi-Line airbrushes also feature solvent-resistant PTFE needle packings for increased durability. In addition, the cutaway preset handle combines two useful functions. The preset adjustment lets you limit paint flow, while the cutaway provides quick access to the needle chucking mechanism.
