Description

Createx 4011 Reducer is a versatile, clear dilutant designed to thin all Createx paints and clears. It improves paint performance by lowering viscosity, which enhances atomization and flow, reduces tip dry, and improves drying and curing times.

Mixing:

• Standard Use: Generally, add 4011 Reducer at 5-10% by volume. Start with 5% and add more only as needed to achieve optimal flow and fine atomization.
• Low PSI / Small Tip: For low pressure settings or airbrushes with small tips, you can add up to 20% by volume.
• Acclimation: For best results, allow the paint to sit for at least 10 minutes after adding the reducer before you begin spraying.

Note: 4011 Reducer breaks down water’s surface tension, which is particularly beneficial for spray-gun applications. It does not contain resin, so to extend colors for increased transparency, use a resin-based clear like 5601, 4004 Transparent Base, or 4030 Balancing Clear to avoid over-reducing the paint.

Pot-Life & Storage:

• Pot Life: There is no specific pot life, but the reducer promotes water evaporation. Keep bottles capped tightly when not in use to prevent the paint from thickening.
• Warning: Only add 4011 Reducer to Wicked Colors you plan to use within 48 hours.
• Storage: Store paint in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
