Description

Createx 4008 Restorer is a biodegradable cleaner specifically designed to remove cured paint from your airbrush, spray gun, and other surfaces.

How to Use:

You can use 4008 as a soaking bath for metallic parts or wipe it directly onto paint-covered areas. It partially dissolves cured, water-based paint, making cleanup with soap and water easy.

4008 starts working on contact. After a minimum of 10 minutes, you should be able to easily scrub off the cured paint with soap and water. You can even let parts soak in 4008 overnight, then clean and rinse them the next day.

Important: Always flush thoroughly with water after cleaning with 4008, as even small amounts can affect your paint. After rinsing with water, spraying with 5618 Airbrush Cleaner will prepare your airbrush or spray gun for new paint.

Do not spray 4008 through your airbrush or spray gun. Use it only as a soak or by wiping it onto the cured paint. For cleaning colours from your airbrush or spray gun while painting, use 5618 Airbrush Cleaner or 4011 Reducer as a rinse.

Compatibility:

4008 dissolves soft plastics. Keep it away from stencils, soft plastics, and any O-rings that aren’t PTFE-coated. However, 4008 is safe to use with harder plastics like styrene.

Pot-Life & Storage:

4008 does not have a pot-life, meaning it can be reused multiple times as a cleaning bath, even if the liquid becomes discoloured.

Store 4008 in a metallic or ceramic container with a cover, like a coffee mug. For long-term storage, keep it airtight in a cool, dry box or cabinet away from sunlight.
