Createx Wicked 4004 Transparent Base is a clear resin base designed specifically for use with Wicked Colors. It appears milky in the bottle but dries to a completely clear finish.

How it Works:

4004 acts as a low-build inter-coat and a transparent extender for your colours.

• You can add 4004 in any ratio to Wicked Colors to increase transparency while maintaining a higher viscosity. This is especially useful when you want more transparent effects without making your paint too thin, which can happen if you just add a lot of 4011 Reducer.

As a Fabric Primer:

4004 Transparent Base also works effectively as a fabric primer.

• Apply it directly to a shirt to “lock down” the fabric nap. This allows for tighter lines and cleaner colours when airbrushing.
• Applying 4004 before painting a black t-shirt can also improve paint coverage, as the colours won’t soak into the fabric as much.

Reduce 4004 Transparent Base by 10% per volume using either 4011 or 4021 Reducer.
