Using Model Air Metallic Colors

The Model Air Metallic Colors range is suitable for a wide variety of modelling applications. For example, use silver and steel for exposed metal surfaces, while gold and bright brass add decorative highlights. Meanwhile, copper and darker metallic shades help create contrast on machinery, weapons and vehicle components. In addition, you can combine different shades to produce more detailed metallic finishes.

Although these paints come pre-thinned, you can adjust their consistency when required. For best results, apply several light coats rather than one heavy layer. Additionally, prepare the surface with a suitable primer to encourage good paint adhesion.
