Description

This line of Wicked Pearlescent Airbrush Colors includes water-based, multi-surface acrylic paints suitable for any airbrush or spray-gun project. Made with transparent pearl powders and a durable resin, these paints are excellent for both interior and exterior use (exterior use requires a top coat clear, such as UVLS Clears). The pearlescent colors refract light and create brilliant effects, especially when finished with a gloss clear coat like the 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear.

Application & Use:

• Tip Size: For best results, use an airbrush with a 0.5mm tip. You can use smaller tips down to 0.3mm by thinning the paint.
• Air Pressure: Generally set at a lower 20 to 40+ PSI.
• Coverage: The colors spray transparent to semi-opaque straight from the bottle.
• Thinning: Thin generously, up to 10% by volume with 4011 or 4021 Reducer for increased transparency and use with smaller airbrush tips.
• Durability: Mix with 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear (recommended) or 4030 Balancing Clear to create a more durable, mar-resistant coating for hard surfaces.
• Specialty Colors: The Wicked Aluminum colors (W355 Fine, W354 Medium, and W356 Coarse) are made with actual aluminum flakes. For best results, apply them over 6013 Silver Sealer.
