Description

Wicked Hi-Lite Colors are water-based, acrylic, multi-surface airbrush paints ideal for both airbrush and spray-gun applications. These paints feature fine, pearlescent flakes suspended in a durable transparent resin, producing soft, shimmering effects when viewed in direct light.

Perfect for subtle pearl finishes on any surface, they are especially striking when top-coated with a gloss clear like 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear.

Key Features:

• Fine Pearl-Flakes:
  Formulated with ultra-fine, crystal-shaped pearls that create a soft, pearlescent shimmer—similar to the subtle sheen of fish scales.
• Application:
  Use as a mid-coat over any base colour. Best results when applied over black, colour-keyed base colours, or Wicked Metallics (e.g. 404 Hi-Lite Blue over 6013 Silver Sealer).
• Airbrush Compatibility:
  Recommended for use with 0.5mm or larger airbrush tip sizes at 20–40+ psi for smooth, even coverage.
• Thinning:
  Thin with 4011 or 4021 Reducer at 5–10% per volume for smaller tip sizes or lower psi.
• Durability & Adhesion:
  For a stronger, more durable finish, mix with 4050 UVLS Gloss Clear, 4030 Balancing Clear, or 4004 Transparent Base to create a high-performance acrylic-urethane blend.
• Compatible with Candy2o:
  Mix Hi-Lite Colors with Candy2o to create luminous, candy-style pearl colours with rich depth and vibrant glow.
